CRETE HISTORY Fine Arts Through Centuries

CLICK TO VIEW ACTUAL PHOTO SIZE

Cretes were more adventurous than Egyptians. They were one of the first people to sail around the world to earn money by trading and indulging in piracy. These adventurous habits shadowed in their art too. Though the Egyptian influences are widely noticed in their works, their creations are rather realistic. Maybe for them, art is for the pleasure for the living beings rather than appeasing the departed souls.
