PREVELI
One of the most beautiful places on earth and the most photographed beach of Crete! A beach at the south edge of Kroustaliotiko gorge where the river reaches the sea. You need to walk down a clif that needs good shoes, or take a boat from the small port at the end of the road to Preveli monastery. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon, when the day-trips depart, you’ll understand the reason why the hippies once considered it a spiritual centre of meditation and inner peace. Also worth visiting is the nearby Preveli monastery.
