The section of the beach that you have shown is not bad itself. There is though a whole other part of the beach that is not shown and that is what the actual beach is all about! The litle church and northest part, the second beach to the left of the one shown, the cafeteria...This is a place that I used to go to growing up in Chania. At the church you are also able to see the cliff that cuts off to a very long drop into the sea!
