Panoramic Album: In the beginning of the 40\'s, the city of Chania was separated into districts and the market was named depending on the type of the shops the Stivanadika the shops that sold stivania, Cretan boots, the Maheradika the shops that made and sold maheria Cretan knives , both boots and knives worn with the traditional costume. The Paplomatadika shops selling paplomata quilt\'s etc. Today, Kentrikon cafe is situated at the junction of Betolo street and Dorotheou Episkopou, (mitropoleos square), the old street referred to as Paplomatadika. This two storey building housed one of the most well-known guilt industries, such of which the older residents still search for even today. Manolis and George converted this industry, in the summer of 2005, to a modern place, preserving the buildings old prestige and perfectly harmonizing it with the whole scene of the old town. Where are we: In the center of the old town, behind the Metropolis church and next to the Stivanadika is where Kentrikon cafe is located. A few meters away from the old port and amongst quiet pedestrianized streets so while doing your shopping you can have a break and enjoy your coffee from bright and early till late at night with a drink.
