Welcome to the Mikra Anogia Villas complex in Mikra Anogia.
This complex consists of two identical villas. The two villas that are very close to each other, are two storey houses of 108-128sqm big that can accommodate up to 6 people.
On entering, on the ground floor you come into an open plan room, where the living room, the dining area and the kitchen are. In the living room you will find a comfortable couch, a satellite TV set, a DVD player, a home cinema, an MP3 player and a fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen is next to the living room and is fully equipped with an electric oven, a fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, a boiler, a toaster and a dish washer. On this level you will also find a small WC with shower and one of the three bedrooms, which is twin bedded.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, which can become a double. The main bedroom with the double bed leads to a spacious and furnished veranda. All the other bedrooms have their own private balcony, offering a magnificent view of the surrounding area. There is a television in every bedroom available. This level has also a spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi, hairdryer and a washing machine.
In every room you will find an air conditioning unit. Moreover there is Internet access available in case you need to catch up a bit of work, or just to check on your e-mails and inform your friends of the great time you are having. An iron with iron board is also available.
Each villa has a very big stone paved veranda and a swimming pool (26-35sqm) with deck chairs and a barbecue area, with a barbecue and a traditional oven. These two villas were designed with high standards as to offer a memorable and relaxing vacation.
Location: The villas are located 3km from Rethymnon Town in the hamlet of Mikra Anogia. The nearest beach is 1.3km away and the nearest super market and tavern only 1km from the villas. The town of Rethymnon is in the centre of Crete in a privileged location as it is very easy to travel all around Crete. It is close to the airport, either Heraklion or Chania airport (both airports are at the most 50 minutes away from Rethymnon). Furthermore, Rethymnon has 35km of beautiful sandy beach. Rethymnon is a picturesque and quiet town that has many pleasures to offer along with its friendly and hospitable people.
The Archaeological Museum is housed in the Venetian Loggia and exhibit es interesting archaeological findings from the region as well as a fine coin collection. Except from a long and beautiful beach at the foot of the old town, Rethymnon has on its east side, one of the largest sand beaches in Crete (12km).
Due to the central location of the villas, they can be used as a starting point to several excursions like the Monastery of Arkadi, the ancient Elefterna, the caves of Zoniana, Melidoni and many walks in the countryside and the mountains. You can also drive up to the town of Heraklion to visit the archaeological site of Knossos Palace and the archaeological museum in the centre of the town.
Activities: These peaceful villas will appeal to people seeking for tranquillity and relaxation away from the noisy towns. The two houses are set in a very quiet environment, but at only a few kilometers away from the town of Rethymnon. One can enjoy the town of Rethymnon and the diverse coastal villages, full of life, day and night. Due to its central position, many excursions may be organized to all districts of Crete. Numerous walks can be done to the mountains, to the old church of Aghia Irini and in the forest around.
Many traditional feasts and events take place all around the island, especially during the summertime, including traditional music, dancing and food. In those feasts guests are welcomed to observe or even participate.
